About Us

Highlands MindCare has been treating patients in Tri-Cities area for over 17 years.

Highlands MindCare, PLLC, specializes in treating neurological and mental health conditions using advanced, scientifically proven, safe techniques. Often the conditions we treat are those where conventional treatments do not result in satisfactory results. Examples include depression and anxiety that have not responded to medication and/or therapy, substance addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and chronic pain. Other conditions that can respond to treatment include ADD/ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, obesity, tinnitus, TBI, memory loss, migraine, and Parkinsons disease.

We are excited to offer patients options that did not exist in the recent past. Specifically, we are able to offer hope with a non-invasive form of brain treatment called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). TMS is a safe and proven way to make changes in the brain that result in relief from the conditions listed above as well as many others. By using a magnetic coil like that is found in an MRI machine, a magnetic field can be aimed at certain known spots on the head to produce electrical stimulation deep inside the brain and result in a sustained improvement in function. See more details under the transcranial magnetic stimulation tab. For over 17 years members of this group have treated patients in our community for opioid and other addiction problems. See more details under the Medication Assisted Therapy tab. We also offer life coaching by a certified life coach.
