We are excited to offer patients options that did not exist in the recent past. Specifically, we are able to offer hope with a non-invasive form of brain treatment called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). TMS is a safe and proven way to make changes in the brain that result in relief from the conditions listed above as well as many others. By using a magnetic coil like that is found in an MRI machine, a magnetic field can be aimed at certain known spots on the head to produce electrical stimulation deep inside the brain and result in a sustained improvement in function.
